This picture has high aperture and the background is blurred. I think this effect isn't as good because the background and the main focus is colourful so the main focus doesn't stand out as much as I would like it to.
This picture has high aperture as well and is again a picture of nature. I thought the raindrops on the leaves would make a good photo. I tried using the rule of thirds composition when taking the picture but it wasn't perfect so I used Photoshop to crop the picture to fit the rule of thirds composition.
Before cropping:

I also took more pictures of plants and flowers around the park but I think those two are my favourite and perhaps a few of the best.
Next, I took many pictures of the birds in the aviary, these following pictures are a few of my favourites.
This picture is taken with high shutter speed to capture the moment this bird fluffs up it's feathers. I like this picture because I really captured the detail of the feathers and I like how the background was dark which helped make the white bird stand out. I also used Photoshop to crop this photo to a rule of thirds composition with the bird's eye being the main focus.
I also like this photo of this white bird taken with a high aperture and a fast shutter speed. I also managed to get a good rule of thirds composition with the eye as the main focus.
These are a few other pictures that I like:
Overall, I found this trip to Hong Kong Park really fun and it was great that we got to practice taking some actual photos. I actually wish that we got a bit more time because I didn't get the chance to go to the waterfalls and take pictures of the water.
When we arrived school, there was a the A Grade Basketball Tournament going on so we took the opportunity and took some shots of the match.
These are a few shots I took that were blog worthy:
I think I need a lot more practice in taking sports photography because my composition while taking the photos were really bad and sometimes I couldn't get my focus point correctly so my photo would focus on the other people surrounding the main focus instead.
